i think this was a very poorly done video that would have made more sense for other games or games with little content like modern cod

In the part when you talk about content you said you skip the number of armours and weapons for lack of time, but actually it does matter in the core idea of Monster Hunter. Many people where dissapointed with DLC events because many of them didn´t brought strong weapons and amazing armours to get, where in the past we could get stuff from manga and other videogames references in fun quests. Is also why "Apex" monsters where terrible, because none of them gave exclusive materials for creating their own weapons unlike the Deviant monsters there actually came from. And I don´t know if you ever notice, but Rise only offers one version of each armour rather than the two we get from World, reducing the amount of armours to half. Even more jarring when some of them are just hideous, like Almudron and Tetranodon giving very horrible female armour where it covers everything except near the groin area. They could have made different versions for the like of each player, but nope. Too many wankers this season.

I know that i will never get the Platinum trophy for World just because i probably will never reach the 100 multiplayer hunts. Right now i think i have 5 and already played it for 100h. But if is as easy as to cheese the 50 guild cards i may try it with a second console and as high or master rank character to clear easy missions for it

If you notice, when everyone's swapping bodies, everyone else has both their stand and a representation of their actual souls. Not Diavolo, he ONLY ever appears as King Crimson. I have a theory that, when Doppio's soul fractured, the one that's Diavolo ended up being King Crimson. It wouldn't be the first time stands have developed their own sentience and it explains a lot. Doppio can use a bit of King Crimson's power, but he's not strong enough to handle the full stand, certainly not in his mentally suppressed state. The older look when he's Diavolo is obviously Doppio's body aged up, since the teenage looking Doppio couldn't possibly have a daughter.

Crazy that the series has been saying it's ending since 2022. We're now in mid 2024 and supposedly now it's for real. I think Horikoshi just wants to end the story already. It's a shame that the industry doesn't let authors work at a less frenetic pace to plan out their stories better

The only issue with this great telling of the story that I have is that it is made abundantly clear you aren’t the Sapphire Star until after you slay Xeno. The Sapphire Star is their guiding light of sorts, and it is in fact Xeno themselves. People can argue if they want to be wrong, but if you take a look at the inside of Xeno’s tail when it is severed it is literally that shape. It makes perfect sense with the story, the Sapphire Stat is what they use to guide them all in this direction, Xeno is drawing everything in and the idea that the Sapphire Star is actually a byproduct of Xeno, like light from the raw energy being given off as it grows, just makes perfect sense. Then you become the Sapphire Star as your nickname because you slayed the Sapphire Star, and guided them through it all essentially, the second of which the commander literally says as he calls you his Sapphire Star the first time only after you kill Xeno. You aren’t the Sapphire Star before that, so it feels really wrong to call the player the Sapphire Star so early in the telling of the story, it is like you’ve been crowned the champion and victor before even knowing of any of the challenges that lie ahead.

So it's safe to say with World that Lao when Fatalis isn't involved, are the first example of the elder crossing in action. Just that it's more in your face about because it can literally walk all over you

I prefer world, both are good but world is def one of my fav games of all time. Although I hope they continue experimenting. It's nice to have a variety instead of an updated version of the same game every time.

One nitpick I have with this design is that, while I get the lagomorph inspiration, having such large ears in a frigid environment isn't practical when heat can disperse off the large surface area
